Day 1

Welcome to the WhitePeak – Mindful Journeys adventure! Over the next five days, we will ride together on some of the most spectacular alpine roads in Europe. From the peaceful lakes of Salzkammergut, to the legendary switchbacks of Timmelsjoch, and all the way to the impressive Großglockner High Alpine Road, every kilometer will be an unforgettable experience. 🏔️🏍️

Day 2

Salzkammergut – The First Alpine Roads

Day two – Salzkammergut: Getting Acquainted and the First Alpine Roads The second day is dedicated to getting comfortable with the motorcycle, the group’s rhythm, and the riding style typical of the local alpine roads. We have prepared a relaxed yet spectacular route through the famous Salzkammergut region, known for its turquoise lakes and picturesque villages. We start from Steyrling and head toward Schladming, a renowned mountain resort famous for its impressive landscapes and authentic alpine atmosphere. It’s the perfect place for the first twisty roads and to ease into the rhythm of the tour. From here we continue to one of the most beautiful villages in Europe: Hallstatt. Spectacularly located on the shores of Hallstätter See and surrounded by steep mountains, the village offers a fairytale setting and a perfect stop for photos and a short walk. The route then leads us to the elegant imperial spa town of Bad Ischl, the former summer residence of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Sisi. Here we will take a relaxed coffee break in the historic center, enjoying an atmosphere that still preserves the charm of the imperial era. The final part of the day takes us along the spectacular shores of Lake Attersee, the largest lake in the Salzkammergut region. The winding roads surrounding the lake offer stunning views and provide the perfect ending for the first day of riding. After this introductory day, we return to our base in Steyrling, where we will end the day in a relaxed atmosphere, preparing for the next stages of our adventure.

Day 3

Alpine Lakes, Bavaria and Neuschwanstein Castle

The third day of the adventure takes us through a landscape dominated by spectacular lakes, winding roads, and borders crossed without hurry, at the perfect pace for a memorable day of riding. We depart in the morning from Steyrling, and the first series of twisty roads leads us once again toward the lake region of Salzkammergut. Our first stop is in Schörfling am Attersee, where the road descends gracefully toward the shores of one of the most beautiful lakes in Austria. We continue along the water toward Unterach am Attersee, enjoying the spectacular views of the lake and the smooth, flowing roads that surround it. The road continues west, and the landscape gradually begins to change as we approach the German border. We cross into Bavaria and arrive in Gstadt am Chiemsee, located on the shores of the famous Lake Chiemsee, often called the “Bavarian Sea.” Here we will take a break to admire the panoramic views of the lake and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this region. We then continue the route toward one of Bavaria’s most spectacular landmarks: Neuschwanstein Castle. Dramatically perched on a rocky hill above the Hohenschwangau Valley and surrounded by alpine forests and clear lakes, the castle looks as if it were taken straight out of a fairytale. We will stop here to admire this iconic symbol of Bavaria and capture a few memorable photos of one of the most famous castles in the world. After this stop, the route continues back toward Austria, and the road becomes increasingly spectacular as we approach the high Alps. We will ride along one of the most beautiful sections of the day beside Lake Plansee, an impressive alpine lake with crystal-clear turquoise waters and a perfect motorcycle road winding between mountains and water. The day ends in Reutte, a small alpine town located close to the Austrian–German border. Here we will spend the night and enjoy the authentic Tyrolean atmosphere while preparing for the next spectacular routes of our adventure.

Day 4

Timmelsjoch - The Heart of the Alps

Day four is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular days of the entire adventure. It is the day when we ride deep into the heart of the Alps and cross one of the most impressive alpine roads in Europe. We depart in the morning from Reutte, and the route takes us south through increasingly dramatic landscapes until we reach the famous mountain town of Sölden, known for its glaciers and its status as an iconic destination in the Tyrolean Alps. From here begins one of the most memorable sections of the tour. We climb toward Timmelsjoch, one of the most spectacular and highly regarded mountain passes between Austria and Italy. The wide switchbacks, high altitude, and breathtaking views of the alpine ridgelines transform this crossing into a pure riding experience. The road climbs to over 2,400 meters in altitude, offering stunning panoramas and the authentic feeling of the Alps in their most dramatic form. After descending into Italy, the route continues through the spectacular landscapes of South Tyrol, crossing the Val di Mezzo area, where the roads retain their authentic charm and the Italian atmosphere adds a pleasant contrast to the experience. From here we return to Austria, and the final part of the day leads us to Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol and one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Surrounded by imposing mountains and with a vibrant atmosphere, Innsbruck provides the perfect ending to a memorable day of riding. Here we will spend the night, enjoying the energy of the city and the spectacular alpine scenery that surrounds it, before continuing our adventure in the days ahead.

Day 5

Großglockner - The Legendary Road of the Alps

Day five brings one of the defining moments of this motorcycle adventure: crossing the famous Großglockner High Alpine Road, considered by many riders to be one of the most spectacular roads in the world. We depart in the morning from Innsbruck, leaving behind the capital of Tyrol and heading west toward Krimml, where the landscape begins to grow increasingly dramatic. The roads weave through wide valleys and traditional villages, and every kilometer brings us closer to one of the most impressive mountain routes in Europe. We continue toward Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße, the gateway to the famous alpine road. From here begins the ascent onto the Großglockner High Alpine Road, a legendary route that winds through the high ridges of the Alps, offering some of the most breathtaking mountain panoramas in Europe. Perfect switchbacks, impeccable asphalt, and spectacular views of the glaciers and of Großglockner, the highest mountain in Austria, turn this crossing into a highlight of the entire tour. It is one of those roads that seems to have been created especially for motorcyclists. After descending from the pass, the route continues through the peaceful alpine landscapes of Carinthia, passing through the Mörtschach area, where the authentic mountain atmosphere and flowing roads provide the perfect ending to an intense day of riding. By evening we arrive in Dellach im Drautal, a charming alpine village located in the valley of the Drau River. Here we will end the day in a relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by the quiet of the mountains and the satisfaction of having ridden one of the most legendary roads in the world.

Day 6

Return to Steyrling

After several intense days spent riding some of the most spectacular roads, day five marks the return to our base in Steyrling, at a relaxed pace that allows us to once again enjoy the impressive landscapes of Austria. We depart in the morning from Dellach im Drautal, leaving behind the Drau River valley and heading north on panoramic roads that cross some of the most beautiful alpine regions of the country. The route continues through authentic mountain villages and wide valleys, offering smooth and enjoyable riding—perfect for savoring the final hours of this adventure. Along the way we pass through the Scheifling area, where the alpine scenery opens into green valleys and roads that invite a relaxed ride. This stage is an opportunity to reflect on the memorable moments of the tour: the alpine passes, the spectacular lakes, and the roads that made this experience truly special. By the afternoon we arrive once again in Steyrling, the place where our adventure began. We conclude the tour in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a final celebration, where we will share stories and celebrate the kilometers ridden, the experiences lived, and the friendships formed along this journey through the Alps. It is the perfect moment to raise a glass, relive the most beautiful moments of the route, and end the adventure exactly as it deserves—in a true spirit of camaraderie among riders. 🍻
